Aside from bags, what else can I sell to EcoRing Malaysia?

EcoRing Malaysia, the second hand luxury store accepts pieces from any item category as long as they're from a luxury designer brand. This includes second hand luxury bags, small leather goods, watches, jewellery, clothing, shoes and all types of accessories (even branded fountain pens and homewares!). Do you only accept items from popular high-end brands such as Hermès and Chanel?

No, quite the opposite - EcoRing Malaysia accepts items from a wide variety of luxury brands, including those that are normally rejected by other secondhand shops. The list of brands accepted is non-exhaustive and constantly evolving, so do drop us a Whatsapp if you are unsure whether your item can be accepted. Clients do sell Celine bag and etc

Must my items be in good or unused condition to be accepted?

While the prices offered for new and unused luxury pieces are generally higher, EcoRing Malaysia does accept old and even broken / defective pieces as long as they're from a luxury designer brand. EcoRing Malaysia is also one of the few local secondhand shops that accepts pre-owned luxury items which do not come with the original receipt or authenticity card. Can I re-purchase what I had previously sold to EcoRing Malaysia?

Unfortunately, EcoRing Malaysia is not able to return or provide any buy-back options for any item(s) sold to us. Arranging for the customer to buy-back an item sold constitutes as a pawnbroken transaction under the Pawnbrokers Act. As we do not have a pawnbroking license, we are unable to provide any sale or re-purchase agreements in all circumstances.

Do you provide any authentication or certification services for branded luxury items?

No, EcoRing Malaysia does not provide any authentication / certification services for branded luxury items. Any questions pertaining to the authenticity of your item(s) will not be entertained, as we are not affiliated with the brand of the item(s) in question.

How is the price for my item determined?

Generally, the prices offered by EcoRing Malaysia are determined by the latest market trends and demand for each respective item models. We utilise price data for pieces of similar conditions through a variety of sources such as luxury auctions, industry reports and online marketplaces.

Can I get a price estimate for my items before deciding whether to sell to you?

Yes of course - To receive an accurate price estimate for your items, it is important to drop us a Whatsapp with photos of your items taken from various angles and highlight any signs of use such as scratches, stains, odour, discoloration etc. Please also provide the list of accessories, if any, that comes along with each of your items (e.g. original receipt, authenticity card, packaging box, dustbag, etc.)

As items from certain brands may require specific details, our team will request for additional photos or details as necessary to provide an accurate estimate for your consideration. However as a rough guide, your pictures should include the following:

  • Bags / Small Leather Goods – Pictures of exterior (front and back), interior, close-ups of handles, corners and straps (where applicable)
  • Watches – Pictures of front and back of the watch face, close-ups of watch strap and buckles. Do provide us a photo of the guarantee as well for us to check the purchase year and model number.
  • Jewellery – Pictures of the whole item, size, and weight if possible (for models with multiple sizes). Do let us know whether or not the item comes with any certification or not as well.
  • Clothing / Shoes / Accessories – Pictures showing the whole design, any areas with signs of use. For clothing, do send us a photo of the tags as well (both brand name tag at the back and care tag inside).

Will the final price offered be the same as what was quoted to me on Whatsapp?

Once our EcoRing Luxury Appraisers have assessed the actual conditions of your items, we will do our best to ensure that the final price offered is similar to the initial price estimate quoted over Whatsapp. However, kindly note that the initial price estimate is provided solely based on the images and details received from you, which at times may not be representative of the actual condition of your items.

Therefore, in order to minimize the gap between our initial price estimate and the final price offered, please provide us with multiple photos of your items taken from various angles and highlight any signs of use such as scratches, stains, odour, discoloration etc. Please also provide the list of accessories, if any, that comes along with each of your items (e.g. original receipt, authenticity card, packaging box, dustbag, etc).

How much are your appraisal fees for assessing my items?

EcoRing Malaysia conducts each appraisal session for free so you can find out how much your pre-loved designer items are worth without incurring any fees! All quotations are provided for free and on a non-obligatory basis, so there is still room for you to change your mind after receiving our final price offered.

Do I need to make an appointment before visiting your store?

EcoRing Malaysia attends to all in-store customers on a first-come-first-serve basis, no appointment required. Please feel free to visit the EcoRing Bukit Bintang store during our operating hours (i.e. 10am to 7pm daily, closed on all Wednesdays) with the items that you'd like to sell.

For customers looking to sell regulated items (i.e. watches and jewellery), do remember to bring along your IC / Passport / Work Pass for verification purposes.

Where is your store located at?

The EcoRing Malaysia store is located in the heart of Bukit Bintang at Lot #2.6 Ansa Hotel, 101 Bukit Bintang Street, 55100 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. 

I am driving to your store, where can I park?

Ample parking spaces are available within Ansa Hotel, as well as nearby shopping malls (e.g. Lot 10, Fahrenheit 88). We will cover for your parking fee upon all successful sale transactions to us.
